At the end of the 18th century,
new immigrants from South Germany and Sweden settled in Pennsylvania and brought with them the delightful treat that is the pretzel. It wasn’t easy making the pretzels at first as they were baked in private homes and sold hand to hand.
Nevertheless, they soon became a great success and the locals named the funny-shaped bread, with the special color and delicious taste the “Golden Bread”.
We, at MO'S GOLDEN PRETZEL, have spent many years searching for the original recipe of the “Golden Bread” and have finally discovered it.
After putting our own modern twist on the original recipe, we are ready to share our Golden Pretzels with the world!
