General information
The Division of Hematology and Thromboembolism excels at clinical, academic, administrative and research endeavors; our faculty occupies important positions on the local, national and international stage in each of these four domains. The Division continues to have prodigious academic output. Recent publications have been featured in leading venues. Grant successes include the Canada Foundation for Innovation grant, which will fund the development of research laboratories at the PHRI. Faculty members continue to obtain highly competitive funding for both basic science and clinical projects to be carried out in both the USA and Canada. Future Directions include the move of the malignant hematology service to the Henderson site and the move of research laboratories from the Henderson site to the new facilities at the PHRI.
