Established in 1987, Structural Panels Inc. (SPI) operating as "Isowall Inc." began producing an expanded polystyrene (EPS) structural panel, ISOWALL. These panels are particularly well-suited for architectural applications where thermal efficiency or controlled atmosphere is required. CFIA approval makes ISOWALL panels particularly appropriate for industries requiring clean rooms, controlled temperature rooms, or high wash-down areas.

In 1997, SPI began producing ROCKWALL™ a superior, fire resistant mineral wool panel. Developed specifically to meet demands for a fire resistant, esthetic, high performance, steel- faced building or wall system, this airtight panel system can be installed easily and quickly, producing an efficient thermal envelope unit that has unrivalled fire resistance and a small carbon footprint..
