Dr. Ryan Todd grew increasingly frustrated with the lackluster options in mental health education while completing his psychiatry residency at the University of Toronto, Canada. His own national scale initiatives to raise awareness did result in award winning mental health campaigns, but he soon realized that conventional educational methods fall flat with today’s learners.

When Dr. Todd met Dr. Jordan DeCoste, an e-learning entrepreneur, they immediately began brainstorming ways to mobilize, enrich and empower mental health education. Fortunate to know experts in communications (Steven Gramlich) and finance (Kameron Erker), this core four quickly began building mental health curriculum and dynamic learning media that would be delivered through mobile-optimized e-learning platforms for today’s learners, wherever they are and at any given moment that care is needed. Macromind Media's goal is to help ensure mental health education and support is accessible anytime, everywhere.
