Mind Alive Inc. manufactures a line of devices which enable the frequency of one's brainwaves to be self-modified via audio-visual stimulation, through a process called Entrainment.

Audio-Visual Entrainment (AVE) technology is based on the discovery that certain frequencies of light and sound have a tendency to alter the frequency of one's brainwaves. Slower frequencies have a relaxing effect on the brain, which is being used world-wide to calm anxiety, promote relaxation, enhance meditation, and help those struggling with insomnia. Likewise, if you speed up the rate of stimulation, you can actually sharpen the mind, boost depressed mood, increase energy levels and improve focus!

Mind Alive Inc (MAI) was developed in 1981 by Dave & Nancy Siever. MAI is the leader in audio-visual entrainment (AVE) technology and has 18 published studies to its credit.
