At Terris Lightfoot, we pride ourselves on our unparalleled ability to build lasting relationships with our clients based on a foundation of transparency and complete trust. Since inception, our company has built enduring relationships with outstanding architects, designers, subcontractors and suppliers, sharing a mutual vision of excellence in quality construction and customer service.

We currently employ 19 full-time project managers, carpenters and apprentices and use more than 60 trades in the field. We also have a full time administrative staff responsible for all the financial management and project coordination for seamless communication between managers, trades, designers, architects and most importantly, our clients.

Specializing in residential, commercial and retail retrofit projects, Terris Lightfoot Contracting Ltd will provide a preliminary estimate based on your initial architectural drawings. At Terris Lightfoot, we use conventional construction materials and techniques, allowing you to get a sense of what a realistic budget would be for your project. We will provide cost allowances for items that have not been specified –but are likely to be enacted within the scope of the project.

We approach every step of the project with thought to sustainability in mind, from recycling every possible item from the demolition phase (Re-Store/Habitat for Humanity), proper disposal of waste, through to the sourcing of sustainable materials and streamlining our process to reduce waste. Warren Lightfoot (partner) is Built Green certified and has brought this knowledge to the team resulting in their first Built Green registered project, a single-family residence in Vancouver this year. The Terris Lightfoot philosophy extends beyond certification to the idea that a building should exceed its sustainability standards by standing the test of time as well, which is equally important in the scope of a successful project.

Every project is a result of a dynamic and successful relationship between Terris Lightfoot, the Architect, Designer and Owner. The contact person on site will be the project supervisor who reports directly to Warren Lightfoot or Reece Terris and the administrative staff. Our project supervisors are Red Seal Certified carpenters with many years of construction experience. Our administration staff consists of a full-time Controller and Project Coordinator who both have an extensive construction administration background.
