Spinal Cord Injury Ontario

General information

Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Ontario, formerly known as Canadian Paraplegic Association Ontario, started in 1945 by veterans returning from WWII who had sustained spinal cord injuries. Our expertise lies in reaching and serving all Ontarians living with a spinal cord injury and their families. SCI Ontario also serves other people living with physical disabilities.We provides specific and individualized services during every step of recovery and also to those living in the community, through our core programmes and services: membership, regional services, peer support, information services, advocacy, employment and attendant services. SCI Ontario has 17 regional/site offices across the province to serve those requiring assistance in local communities. (see below)
