In 1982, Jim Keay along with his wife Johnette had a vision of what an automobile dealership could be. They wanted to provide customers with the best service and customer care possible. So in November of that year, they opened their doors at 1300 Michael Street as Ottawa's New Sign of the Cat, in reference to the popular Mercury Cougar they sold.
This New Sign of the Cat quickly grew through the hard work and tremendous effort of all involved and it evolved into what we are today: an award winning business, having won the President's Award from Ford Motor Company numerous times. We are also very active in our community sponsoring numerous local hockey, basketball and soccer teams as well as figure skating, day cares and school fundraisers. We also like to give back to our customers with sponsorships to fundraising golf tournaments.
