A therapeutic massage is a massage that is performed by a Registered Massage Therapist, otherwise known as a RMT. A RMT is trained in providing many different types of massages such as;
Pregnancy Massage
Deep Tissue Massage
Sports Massage
Trigger Point Massage
My name is Nina Bjork Stefansdottir. I was born and raised in Iceland and moved to Canada in 1995, when I came to study massage therapy. I graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy 1997 and have been practising ever since. I have also worked as a personal trainer and a boot camp instructor. I am very passionate about helping people feel better and specialize in upper body care such as headaches, shoulder injuries and chronic pain that desk workers often suffer from. I use deep tissue massage techniques and am very knowledgeable in stretches and exercises
