Cumulus Dental created its flagship product—SmartChart—to improve practice productivity and patient care by reducing the administrative burden and potential for error of paper-based processes.

SmartChart is a revolutionary 3D, voice-activated dental charting system that increases charting speed, improves record accuracy and enhances the patient experience. The launch of SmartChart is scheduled for the fall of 2017.

Our vision is to improve dental care by creating efficiency within dental practices.

To build on this vision, Cumulus Dental immediately set their sights on replacing the existing periodontal probe, which has been used by dentists and hygienists for over 130 years. SmartProbe is a transformational periodontal probe which uses photonics (light technology) to measure the pocket depth and temperature. This will lead to much earlier diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of gum disease. The launch of SmartProbe is scheduled for 2018.
