General information

It all started with a one-man shop in 1974 on Edmonds Street in Burnaby, BC. In 1986, a newly wed Steve and Joanne Pal bought the little business and poured their heart and souls into it. Steve the battery man quickly became well known in the area for going the extra mile for his customers. Complementary battery testing became a mainstay at Edmonds.

Selling batteries with exemplary service seemed to be a recipe for success. Now over 40 years later, Steve and Joanne's little battery shop has grown to four locations and become a household name in the Fraser Valley. Supplying locals with their personal boat, car, RV, motorcycle, alarm and Powerwheels is just part of what we do. Those batteries that we sell to customers who walk in through our shop doors are also being chosen by our local police forces, schools, hospitals and private companies. Chances are that the local farms your food came from or fire system installed in your workplace are being powered by a battery that originated from Edmonds.
