General information

While studying abroad in 2002, Jason Stoter was inspired by the Mexican lifestyle and motivated to bring relaxation to the world. He had just graduated from school, wasn't sure how he was going to sell hammocks back home in Canada, but decided to follow his dream and ordered 5,000 hammocks in 2004 after researching hammocks from villages in the Yucatan peninsula, where they had been produced for generations. This was the inception of Hammock Village.

After a lot of hard work, sleepless nights, and being surrounded by encouragers and positive people, he finally saw his dream become a reality. This heralded the business name change from Hammock Village to Vivere Ltd. With a primary focus on providing great quality hammocks and accessories with superior customer service, other product lines were developed to grow the outdoor living category.

Our goal to Relax the World is also our mantra for living and one that we bring to you. We work hard to make sure you can relax and experience a balanced lifestyle. You no longer need to travel for peace of mind or a relaxing escape on a Tuesday night: you can keep your Vivere Ltd products in your home, in your backyard, or even in a carrying case for easy access to where ever you travel!
