BC Gems and Jewellery opened its doors in the spring of 2007, after owner Brandon Snider closed his local mall location.

With skyrocketing rent and massive operating costs, he decided a change in the way he was doing business was in order. The building at 1206 King East was purchased and a portion operates as BC Gems, while the remainder was rented out to tenants. This concept allows clients an intimate, private environment to discuss custom creations, which have become the backbone of our business.

With over 25 years of experience in various areas of the jewellery trade, your jewellery is in good hands; whether it is in for a simple solder, or a complete remount and stone replacements. Most repairs are done on premises, within 24 hours and custom work can be done in as little as 10 days time.

The showroom opens daily, and because we own the building, evening and Sunday appointments are never an issue.
