General information
At Oak Park we will work to develop trusting relationships with your children and to encourage independence in all aspects of their day. There is always time for a smile, a hug, a helping hand. There is an opportunity for: individual, small and large group activities, for children to learn to share, work co-operatively, develop language, social, motor and cognitive skills, THROUGH PLAY situations. Our full time staff are Registered Early Childhood Educators. Lakshmi the teacher in the Senior Room has won a Federal Teaching Award for excellence in Early Childhood Education and has been at Oak Park for 25 years. We provide free Yoga Lessons by a Children's Yoga Instructor twice a month from September to June. The children always look forward to Yoga Barb!
Our cook Gladys is very popular with the children and provides nutritious and delicious meals for everyone.
We are very fortunate to have a large well equipped playground that backs onto green fields.
Our staff and families come from many different backgrounds and this wonderful mix makes Oak Park a unique and interesting Centre where we encourage families to share their culture.
