SFF started way back in the 90's, when the Sierra Flower team in the back warehouse were struggling to stay on top of what flower varieties were supposed to look like. They started keeping pictures in a file and by 1999 it got so big that the online "SierraFlowerFinder" was born. Initially managed by Sierra Flower Trading, it was launched in 2010 as a Collaborative effort, so now anyone can participate in maintaining and evolving the site; the world's first flower WIKI!
