General information
The Joliette Plant has been in operation since the beginning of the century. It is still today a modern and efficient facility due to Graymont's continuous investment program. From an open pit quarry of chemical grade limestone, the Joliette plant produces both quicklime and hydrated lime. This major industrial complex is equipped with two rotary kilns. It has an annual production capacity of some 220,000 tonnes of quicklime and a hydration capacity of 75,000 tonnes.
