General information

Founded in 2011, mehdi marzyari architects is a Toronto-based architectural practice owned and directed by its two partners: Mehdi Marzyari and Maryam Alavi. It has been originally established in 2004 in Tehran-Iran and changed the name from Zavieh Architecture Office to mehdi marzyari architects when the partners made Toronto their new home in 2008. The firm's portfolio of works includes different range of project types and scales in architecture and interior design.
The partners believe that successful projects result from a clear dialogue between architect and client. In order to achieve responsive architectural solutions, the firm’s main vision is to listen and meet client's requirements as well as commitment to design excellence.
Since its foundation in 2004, the firm has been recognized with local and national honours including two Grand Me'mar Awards; the most prestigious architectural award in Iran which is given to the completed projects in the country.
