Grazia Condello - Paralegal

General information

I joined with my law partner, Toronto Criminal Lawyer Joseph A. Neuberger, in 1998. Our firm, Neuberger & Partners LLP, specializes in defending criminal and provincial offences. I was part of the group of first paralegals to be licensed by the Law Society of Upper Canada. My areas of practice include defending clients charged with Criminal Summary Conviction matters and Provincial Offences, and Small Claims Court litigation. In addition to my practice, I have also assisted lawyers with the defence of many high-profile and complex criminal cases, involving the review of disclosure material and evidence provided by the Crown Attorney's office, assisting in the preparation for the cross examination of witnesses, and legal research.

I volunteer in fundraising for the Toronto Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program, a program dedicated to providing healthy community meals to Toronto residents in need. I have also volunteered with the Ontario Justice Education Network, an organization dedicated to promoting public understanding of our legal system.

I also volunteer on the Ontario Paralegal Association committee for Government / Law Society Relations. The committee’s mandate is to monitor, report, draft and advocate issues to all relevant stakeholders that affect paralegal regulation and access to justice for the Ontario public.

I have spoken at Continuing Professional Development seminars relating to Provincial Offences and Criminal law for paralegals.

On November 26, 2016, I was elected to sit on the Board of Directors for the Ontario Paralegal Association. It is an honour to represent paralegals and work in furthering our profession.
