General information

In 2015 Yoga 101 Studio expanded to include two gorgeously updated assana rooms, four treatment rooms, two change rooms, and a spa. We offer reflexology treatments and registered massage therapy services in addition to many different yoga classes.

We take an active role in the advancement of our students whether it comes to their health or furthering their practice. Your mental and physical health will prosper and your practice will grow!

Practicing Yoga in a heated environment, 85 degrees or 101 degrees has many health benefits.

The muscles and tendons in the body are more easily lengthened in a warm environment and less prone to injury.

Practicing in a heated studio promotes detoxification from the inside out. The body will detoxify itself through the sweat glands.

Heat promotes blood circutaion. Students practicing with a previous injury or practicing in order to repair an injury, such as an injured joint or spinal vertebrae will practice in much greater comfort and experience more rapid healing due to the increased blood circulation occuring in the area of the injury.

A heated environment also allows the body to shed excess body fat more quickly. In a studio heated to 101 degees the body can roughly burn between 600 and 800 calories in a 1 hour class.
